Chapter 3 - A sign of ... ?

One day, Mr.D was having a conversation with Mr.R on msn, and by chance, he was told that Mr.R knew how to cook!And Mr.D asked Mr.R, if he can taste the food prepared by Mr.R. And Mr.R, just said "Well, I would cook for you if you want me to". Mr.D was more than just happy to have heard that, and all he ever thought in his mind was not the food, but the chance of seeing Mr.R again. Mr.D requested for a meal prepared by Mr.R after his stressful examination period, but date wasn't even confirmed at all..

On 19th, Mr.D called Mr.R

Mr.D: Hey, tomorrow I plan to visit my relative in Wangsa Maju there le, and probably I would go find you as well, so are you gon cook for me tomorrow?

Mr.R: Huh?Not sure wo..Don't know if Bxxxx will be out or not tomorrow..

Mr.D: Ohh, means if Bxxxx there, you ain't gon cook for me la?Then nevermind la...

Mr.R: Wei, there's always next time de ma...right?

Mr.D: Well, I won't purposely go so far just for food lo..Tomorrow only, if not, I don't know how long would it take for the "next time" to come?

Mr.R: Well, I guess I just gotta say yes, should I not?

Mr.D: Hehe, you know it...See you tomorrow then..

On 20th, after preparing himself the best, Mr.D got in his Rav4, heading to Taman Melati in the afternoon. Basically, Mr.D only knew the way to Wangsa Maju, he did't know no place called "Taman Melati" although he knew it was near to Wangsa Maju. He was supposed to meet Mr.R at Jusco, but then Mr.R asked if Mr.D could just straightaway go to Taman Melati. Mr.D tried to, but ain't got no luck, he had a poor sense of direction, expected, and he almost got lost. He got fed up, he called up Mr.R and asked Mr.R to come to the LRT station nearby the Jusco. However, while Mr.R was in a cab, heading towards the LRT, Mr.D was still trying his best to find a way out to Taman Melati. And then, he realized that he wasn't at the place that Mr.R described and he thought he was on the right place, so he tried to call Mr.R but something was just wrong with the reception, couldn't call out. He started to get worried, so he decided to just wait nearby the LRT station where Mr.R would surely pass by before reaching the LRT station. He looked at every passing cabs, trying to see if it was Mr.R inside the cab, but he ain't that lucky as many cabs passed by but he couldn't see any one of them with Mr.R inside. Finally, there was a cab with Mr.R inside, and Mr.D quickly pulled out his cell phone again, trying to inform Mr.R in case Mr.R didn't notice his car. But, suddenly the cab stopped aside, and Mr.R was coming out from the cab, and then running towards the Blue Rav4. "He saw it, he noticed it!", shouted Mr.D deep inside his heart.

First thing Mr.D said when he let Mr.R in into his car.

Mr.D: Why can't call you one?

Mr.R: I can't call you too?

Mr.D: Err, I think my phone got problem, let me on again first.

Well, phone was restarted, and smses were popping up, it was obvious that it was the phone of Mr.D playing a game with him. And they just laughed, after that, they were heading to Carrefour nearby to purchase some ingredients for the cook later, they had a great time shopping in Carrefour.

When they reached home, Mr.R started arranging all the ingredients and preparing himself to cook. At the mean time, Mr.D was a little bit too exhausted, due to the long-day activities, from 8am till then, never had the chance to rest a bit. Mr.R stayed lying in the sofa, but he couldn't sleep. When Mr.R was cooking, Mr.D got up and went towards the kitchen. He suddenly hugged Mr.R! Besides feeling surprised as he was a little speechless and he stopped a while, hands not moving, it was all Mr.R ever hoped and wanted from Mr.D. The meals were ready in a 40 minutes time, and they fed each other, and it was sweet in both the hearts of two who had great affections to each other.

Suddenly, a missed call was shown on the screen of Mr.R's phone, and it was Mr.B and as well a sms from Mr.B asking Mr.R to go into the room.


Suddenly, Mr.D recalled the short conversation he had in the lift with Mr.R before entering the house. He was told a little about how Mr.B gon behave later.

Mr.R: He ain't gon see you at all because he doesn't want to, and I ain't allowed to bring you into the room plus he would all the time lock himself up in the room, never gon come out so long you are here"

Well, Mr.D had questions in his mind, thinking why would Mr.B wanna do something like this, such a childish act, but he just nodded his head to Mr.R, saying "Ohh, ok..."

As he entered the room, it was so loud that Mr.D could hear only TWO words being screamed out in an angry tone, from the room inside by Mr.B, "Don't want!". Mr.D thought that something must have happened! Mr.B was throwing tantrum at Mr.R as he hadn't had his dinner yet, plus he ain't even up for toilet at all since Mr.D was there. It was quite late somehow, around 11.30pm, and Mr.D was supposed to visit his relative and he said to Mr.R that he gotta leave soon. The main reason wasn't that at all chance, it was just because Mr.D didn't wanna get Mr.R into a circumstance where Mr.R would be put on a fence in between two houses. Withdrawing would be the best idea to avoid all that, Mr.D thought.

Another day, 23rd August 2o08. Mr.R told Mr.D that he was going to the California Gym in Mid Valley, which was quite near to Mr.D's house. Mr.D asked Mr.R if they could meet today, and if Mr.R would go to his house. Mr.R told Mr.D that Mr.B would be following him to gym as well, so he believed that it wasn't convenient to meet Mr.D. Disappointed, but somehow Mr.D didn't know what else to say to Mr.R besides "Ohh, like that ah, then nevermind la" with a sad tone.

Just at all of a sudden, Mr.R sent a text to Mr.D, saying "Hey, I will be going to your house later, where will it be the most convenient place for you to pick me up?". With lots of question marks in his head, as well as surprises and shocks, he quickly called Mr.R up asking why suddenly Mr.R could go to his house? Mr.R replied that "He see me like seeing a dead or a zombie now, then ma let me go over your place lo". Without a hesitation, Mr.D said "Ya, Bangsar would be good, I would go out now!"

This was the first time when Mr.D and Mr.R kissed each other, Mr.D seemed to have loosened the "laws" he had set for himself. And they had a long chat and sweet moments but time really flew, that Mr.R gotta leave for home very soon. Not wanting to say goodbye, but they had to...

After all those that had happened, what was in both the minds of Mr.R and Mr.D? Were they starting to swing their positions, straying away from their original tracks and looking for a new environment? Or were they just gonna leave it that way, continuing an "unrevealed" or "underground" relationship like this?What would happen to both of them, and as well as Mr.B and Mr.E? Was it gonna be a disaster or a beautiful future awaiting them?
